Description
This beautiful Rolex Submariner ref.6536 is considered part of the early batch of Rolex dive watches to actually feature the name "Submariner" on the dial. It stands as a prime example of the brand's early development in professional dive watches.

The depth rating in red - a rare detail that was soon phased out in favour of all-gilt text. The dial also features a distinctive 6 o'clock marker is a slightly whiter tone than the other hour indexes, a subtle but significant indicator of its authenticity.

The 6536 remains one of the rarest and most sought-after Submariner ever made, with estimates suggesting that only around 100 pieces were released in 1955, just a few years after the inaugural model.

Altogether, this piece offers a rare and insightful glimpse into the formative years of the Rolex Submariner.

Condition
The watch shows light signs of use, but overall good condition
